This page explains the assumptions used by the net-price calculator. Values are estimates per litre for comparison only; always check the issuer's official conditions before applying for or using a product.
How it works
The calculator starts from the official posted price, applies confirmed fuel discounts or estimated point value, then compares stations.
Important
Some offers require point redemption, membership, caps or a specific app flow. These rules should affect ranking only when the user enables them.

Shell loyalty transition
Shell says AIR MILES continues at Shell stations outside Alberta through May 25, 2026, and Scene+ starts in the rest of Canada on May 26, 2026. The calculator currently models the confirmed CAA fuel discount; Scene+ rules should be added only after launch terms are stable.
